I was referred to Jacqueline Mason by another agent named Matthew Allen. He suggested I speak with Jacqui because she had the best knowledge of Savannah. My husband had never been to Georgia before, and it was crunch time to find a house. We were PCS’ing to this area and only had 3 days to find a home we loved and wanted to buy. Jacqui couldn’t have possibly been more helpful, knowledgeable, and truly on point for us. She took our challenging situation as fun and was able to show us multiple houses in each location we were interested in. She showed us different areas, the options we had, discussed what was local, and knew every bit of information we needed to choose what neighborhood we wanted to be in. Jacqui really went above and beyond to make us feel not only welcome to Savannah, but like we weren't a challenge at all. We were her first priority; she never missed a call or email. If we wanted to see a home, she was there in 20 minutes and had a few more listings we hadn’t even found for us to see.

At first, I thought my property was ready to sell, but Jacqueline convinced me otherwise, and I’m really happy that I listened. Without her help, I wouldn’t have been able to sell my property for more than my asking price. Jacqui was recommended to me by a friend at work when I thought I had found the perfect house, and none of the realtors I had contacted were calling me back. I called Jacqui (this was on a Sunday), left a message, and within 5 minutes, I was on the phone with her arranging to view the house later that same afternoon. Being first-time home buyers, my boyfriend and I were way in over our heads. Luckily, we had Jacqui by our side. Jacqui is very professional, easy, and fun to work with. She is very thorough in explaining all the details and steps in purchasing a new home.
 
So, we looked at this home and decided to make a low-ball offer, pending a home inspection. Jacqui set up the appointment for Eric, a wonderful home inspector, to come inspect, and he found a list of problems. I knew that going in, there was work to be done, but Jacqui helped put into perspective the future and potentially hidden costs this place could have. She didn't discourage me from going through with it (she left the decision up to me), only informed me about her and her friends' experience in refurbishing old homes and put some pretty big numbers $$ in my head.
 
So, we took back our offer and decided to start a new search, something with a little less work to be done. I really appreciate her input and honesty throughout the whole process. We could have ended up in a money pit and would have been miserable. Jacqui started showing us new homes that met our criteria in desirable neighborhoods. She is such a pleasant person to be around that I felt like I was touring these homes with a good friend. After looking at 10 or so mid-century homes, I think she realized (as I started to as well) that I really wanted that Victorian charm, high ceilings, and historic details.
 
So, then she remembered this old house that is owned by a contractor who had almost completely restored it. She remembered, due to personal reasons, the owner wanted out ASAP. She contacted him to see if he was interested in selling AS IS, and it just so happened he was! Jacqui called us, and we went to look at the house. It’s AMAZING!! Perfect neighborhood, super energy-efficient, and literally every single criterion on our list!! We swooped in with a low but reasonable offer. Then Jacqui called that night and said they countered, but it’s good! So we got the home inspection, and everything was perfect!! We accepted the counter, and here I am sitting in my beautiful, charming Victorian mansion!! Thanks so much, Jacqui. I wouldn’t be here without you!

I have now used Jacqui for both buying and selling a home, and I couldn't recommend her more highly. She is amazingly responsive, she got us a great deal when we were buying our house and she had the house we were selling have an accepted offer in under 30 days from listing.

I bought and sold multiple properties with Jacqueline Mason, some pretty complex (due to circumstances unrelated to her). She listens to wants/needs lists and follows through with listings that meet these expectations, as well as some that end up being more of what we were looking for than we even knew. She is ALWAYS prompt with return calls and follow-ups, knows the answers to obscure real estate questions (and if she doesn't, will get back with the proper answer immediately). She is creative with problem-solving and negotiation and will spend the time necessary to show me as many properties as needed until I have found what I want.

I have known Jacqueline for over 15 years, and she has helped me purchase 2 properties in Savannah and on Tybee Island. She’s been wonderful. I’ve enjoyed working with her so much that I’ve asked for her opinion and help on several more properties outside of Georgia. She’s knowledgeable, very easy to get along with, knows everything and everyone in Savannah, and is just a delight to work with. Cannot recommend her enough.

Selling a home you’ve loved and lived in for over 25 years is no easy task. I’m so lucky I had Jacqui by my side to guide me through the whole thing. She really knows what buyers want—what needs fixing and what’s fine just the way it is. Plus, she helped me make some tough decisions about personal touches I loved, but might’ve turned off a potential buyer. Jacqui has such an eye for design—it’s honestly amazing. The little tweaks she suggested (some as simple as rearranging the furniture) saved me so much money and made my home look incredible. Jacqueline is amazing! Just over two years ago, she helped me buy a house in downtown Savannah. She negotiated a tremendous deal and put me in a great home. I just sold that home with her help.
